Neer A Locator application to be launched on iPhone.

Apple’s iPhone has added a need application to its already existing vast list of applications. Qualcomm services labs announced the launch of its Neer application for iPhone on Sunday. This application is already available for free in the Android market and is now available in the App Storesm. Neer enables automatic and trusted sharing of location with self chosen groups such as family, friends and colleagues.

This application works by letting your partner be informed of the time when you leave from work or let them know of them time when you come to pick the kids from school. What Neer does is that it uses geofencing and location sensing technology to keep the selected group of people informed of your location.

 

Neer helps to keep everything under control and is most useful to share your location with targeted people. This app is now available for iPhone users for free and can be downloaded from the app store.

iPhone app ‘My name is E’

iPhone’s new application called ‘my name is E’ is aimed at simplifying the process of sharing contact information amongst people. The only condition which requires the using of this app is that the people sharing information should be in close proximity of one another.

This is a free app which needs to be downloaded in order to be used. Both the people exchanging contact details should have this app on their iPhone. Even people who do not own the iPhone can get contact information through the app by an email that is sent from ‘my name is E’ itself.

Today the service is available both as an iPhone app and on the internet. It helps the users also connect their social networking profiles with the contacts in their phonebook without the trouble of exchanging their cards. This app is also available as a USB connector similar to poken.

iPhone App to replace the stethoscope

The iPhone can soon replace the standard stethoscope, if an App is to be believed. A University College London researcher has developed a free application for iPhone users called the ‘iStethoscope’ which will be able to monitor heartbeats through sensors. More than 3 million doctors from all over the world have already signed up to gain access to this new application.

The iPhone’s popularity in India may not be as high as in Western countries, but it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it has its own loyal base. With word out about this App, the Indian medical community is pretty excited. With more and more people opting for Smartphones because of their feature-rich and high sensory qualities, this iPhone App can be very popular.

Though the   iStethoscope has been developed as a “fun thing”, it is making the medical community realize that the day of people doing their own ultrasounds and blood pressure tests with their Smartphones may not be too far away.
