Reliance announces more bundled CDMA offers

Reliance Communications has come up with new offers for its new CDMA postpaid customers. Now Reliance postpaid customers can buy open- market handsets that were previously available only for GSM subscribers. New CDMA customers will get a promotional benefit wherein they call any local Reliance number (GSM and CDMA) free for the first 6 months of subscription. Free local calling to any Reliance number is available on tariff vouchers of Rs 199 and above.

Also the offer comes bundled with the latest trendy handsets from Samsung, Fly, Karbonn and Micromax. Targeted at the youth as well as the business class, Reliance is offering the following handsets: Samsung – SCH – F219, Samsung – Corby ,Samsung – SCH – B519, LG 6300, Karbonn – KC320, Byond – C404, Fly C250, Coolpad-188, 2838, 2938, S50, S100, 2618, Max – GC 333, GC 343, GC 355 CD11 and Micromax – C112, among others.

 

T24 Mobile Services launched in Kolkata circle

T24 which is a joint venture of Future Group and TATA Teleservices has launched its mobile service in Kolkata and West Bengal. T24’s mobile service is called the Unpaid Mobile Service. Unpaid has been operating in Andhra Pradesh and is planning to expand to other parts of the country as well. Unpaid has brought out a bouquet of tariff vouchers for its prepaid customers.

Unpaid has basically two kinds of recharge options: Per Second billing and Per Minute billing. Also, it offers its subscribers the unique benefit if availing of free talk time whenever he or she shops at any Future Group store. Its GSM network is being handled by the reliable Tata Teleservices.

The Per Second pack will allow customers to make local and STD calls at 1 p per sec while the Per Second pack will allow them to make local and STD calls at 50 p per minute. After the first 2 SMS’es, which is charged at 60 p each, subscribers can send 100 local SMS free. STD SMS’es are each charged at Rs 1.20.

Tata Docomo introduces “Refresh Festive Seconds Pack”

Tata Docomo, one of the country’s leading GSM telecom service providers has come up with the “Refresh Festive Seconds Pack” to mark the auspicious festive season. These packs are available to its prepaid subscribers in UP (West), Maharashtra, Goa, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

UP (West) Docomo subscribers on a recharge of Rs 97 will get 13,200 seconds (220 Minutes) talk time which can be used to call any local or STD number in the country. It has a validity of 30 days and this pack can be availed of till September, 15, 2010. Docomo subscribers in Maharashtra and Goa on a recharge of Rs 140 will get 15,000 (250 Minutes) which can be used to call any local and STD number across India for 60 days. Docomo subscribers in Andhra Pradesh will get 11,400 seconds (190 Minutes) with a recharge of Rs 90 and a validity of 15 days. Karnataka subscribers will get 21,000 (350 Minutes) local & STD seconds at Rs 150 with a validity of 60 days.

 

 

 

Tata Docomo introduces new ISD pack in Gujarat

Tata Docomo, the GSM operator of Tata Teleservices has introduced a new ISD pack in its Gujarat circle. Now Docomo subscribers in Gujarat can make ISD calls to USA and Canada for as low as 1p per sec.

The pack is aimed at the huge number of NRI’s originating from the state. The new ISD pack is priced at Rs 60 and is valid for 30 days. The offer comes in the face of the high existing rate of ISD calls being offered by Docomo in Gujarat at 6p per sec. Docomo had already introduced this offer in its Punjab circle in July.

A Docomo spokesperson said that while US, UK and Canada have a total of 5.5 million in NRI population, and out of this 32% are from Gujarat. This means that a lot of ISD calls are being made from the state. This price cut is sure to attract a lot of mobile phone subscribers.

Videocon introduces “Regular Balance Plan” in its Mumbai circle

Videocon, on of the fastest- growing telecom service providers in the country in terms of customer base, has launched the “Regular Balance Plan” for it subscribers in the Mumbai circle. The plan is going to offer its prepaid customers extra talk time on recharges.

This new and unique STV or Special Tariff Voucher has been introduced keeping in mind the growing demands of mobile phone subscribers in India. The “Regular Balance Plan” is priced at Rs 65 and the instant core balance which is received is Rs 55. After this, the main balance will be credited with Rs 10 every 15 days after the recharge. What’s more, this will continue for 2 months, which means that subscribers will get Rs 10 talk value 4 times! So on every Rs 65 recharge, the extra talk value received is Rs 40.

Vodafone introduces person-to-person recharge facility in Jammu & Kashmir

Vodafone Essar, one of the leading telecom service providers in the country has introduced person – to- person recharge facility in Jammu and Kashmir. This will allow its subscribers to transfer talk time from one person to another. Both users need to be Vodafone subscribers. This facility is great because it will allow people to use their phones even when they are not immediately able to recharge.

The receiver of talk time will be charged Rs 2 as processing fee for each transaction. The minimum amount of such person – to – person recharge allowed is Rs 10 while the maximum is Rs 100. One user will be allowed such a transaction only once a day.  For availing of this facility, a prepaid Vodafone subscriber has to send an SMS RC (receivers no) (transfer amount) to 144 (toll free). Videocon introduces Unlimited GPRS Plans

Videocon Mobile Service, one of the latest entrants into the telecom industry has introduced 2 new unlimited GPRS plans in India. The offer is called “Truly Unlimited Mobile Internet”, and is different from the already existing Rs 96 Unlimited Internet offer. It is aimed at the youth of the country, who want low – priced internet offers to meet their social networking demands. The two different plans have been introduced at two price points to provide subscribers the chance to choose.

In Mumbai, the “Truly Unlimited Mobile Internet” packs have been priced at Rs 13 and Rs 225. The Rs13 pack can be used without any limit on fair usage for 3 days while the Rs 225 pack can be used without any limit on fair usage for 90 days. In Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Kerala and Haryana, the packs are priced at Rs 13 and Rs 251 respectively.

Videocon introduces 3 Minutes Plan and New ISD Pack

Tata Docomo introduces “Triple Benefit” pack in Andhra Pradesh

Vodafone introduces special coupons on Ramzaan

Vodafone Essar, one of India’s leading telecom service providers, has introduced several special coupons for its prepaid customers to mark the auspicious month of Ramzaan. A Rs 56 pack will allow its subscribers to enjoy 786 seconds of free calls between 10 pm and 8 am everyday for the whole month of Ramzaan. The 786 seconds of free usage will be credited to its subscribers everyday and can be used to call local Vodafone phone numbers. The Rs 56 pack has been introduced in its UP West circle.
