Micromax X118 Review

The new exciting Micromax X118 is whirling the markets with its simplicity. It is very much similar to other X series mobiles except for some minor changes. It comes in dynamic black color only. The dimensions of the phone are105 X 46 X 16 mm and weighs only 79 grams. It is a dual SIM mobile with Dual Stand by with operating frequency of  GSM 900 / 1800 MHz | GSM 900 / 1800 MHz . The operating system embedded is JAVA based UI.

The color screen is of 1.75 and offers resolution of 128X160 pixels. The mode of messaging is through SMS and MMS only. The phone book memory comes around to 500 entries. The handset has Stereo FM radio with an audio jack. One of the most exciting features of this model is its audio player which comes in a multi player format of (MP3 / AAC / AAC+ / AMR) along with background music playback. Unlike Micromax X116 which has an expandable memory up to 8GB (micro SD card), X118 has expandable memory only up to 2 GB. Other handy features include5-way navigation keys, LED Torch Light, STK, Conference Call, Hindi/English Keypad, enabled WAP browser and GPRS etc. The battery used is Li-Ion of 850mAh. The stand by of the battery is up to 6 Hours and the talk time is up to 10 Hours, which is very low when compared to X116 and X114. More over the model does not possess camera option for capturing images. Thus you can check out the other models of Micromax before going for this one.

Micromax Q5c Review

With the success of its previous brand Micromax Q5fb which occupied a major portion in Micromax phone sales, Micromax has decided to release yet another phone in the same Q5 series. Micromax Q5c is a candy bar CDMA phone with features similar to its predecessor Q5fb, which is a GSM phone. The dimensions of the mobile are 112 X 58 X 13.5 mm. The display is of 5.5 centimeters with a screen resolution of 320X240 pixels. The outstanding features of Micromax Q5c include a QWERTY keypad, 2.0 MP camera with LED Flash with an excellent resolution of 1600 X 1200 Pixels, one touch Facebook option, Integrated Opera Mini Browser.

The mobile is equipped with a powerful Music Player that supports multiple formats like MP3, AMR, MIDI and WAV.  FM radio is also present in the phone to take care of your entertainment level and the video player supports MP4, 3GP and 3G2 format. The internal memory of the phone can be expanded up to 4 GB with the help of microSD card so that you are never short of the memory. The handset supports high range connectivity with the help of Bluetooth (A2DP), WAP browser and MMS. Social networking and instant messenger features are also available such as Twitter and Nimbuzz Multi messenger. The phone book memory is up to 1000 entries. BREW V-3.1.5 allows you to download many games and also to develop few applications. Java is also supported on this mini machine. Micromax has launched yet another mobile set which is a milestone in its innovation. Micromax Q6 is a dual SIM mobile with dual GSM band (900/1800 MHz). It is a slide model phone which reveals the full QWERTY keypad on sliding. Available in full black, this phone is highly enticing and attracts the customer from the very first look. Micromax Gamolution Review

Micromax Gamolution is a trendy and stylish phone-cum- gaming console. It is a quad band phone which can work under GSM900/1800 or 850/1900 network.

 Its key feature is its gaming facility.  It is the first mobile phone from Micromax which has 3D motion sensors that allow you to play motion controlled games on your mobile apart from the conventional mobile games. The package comes with four free motion controlled games which are further supported by the games CD, game codes and game manuals. The device also supports multi-player gaming via Bluetooth game Dongle.

Another attractive feature of this mobile is its 2 megapixel camera which can be used as webcam just by plugging it to a computer via USB cable.
