Its dual SIM facility allows you to twitch two GSM SIM cards into one device and juggle between them seamlessly as per your convenience. The phone is equipped with MP3 player as well as wireless FM radio. It also comes with the universal 3.5 mm jack through which you can plug in your headphones and enjoy music.

Not only music, the device can also playback MP4 videos. The VGA camera can be used to record low resolution videos or shoot static pictures. The display unit consists of a 1.8 inches TFT screen which can deliver a resolution of 128X160 pixels.

Zen S10 Review

September 23rd, 2010

Zen’s S10 mobile phone is an awesome masterpiece in its own way. One look at it and you’ll say wow! You could have hardly imagined that such a low cost mobile would be so dazzling. First, let’s talk about its look. Its look has a masculine oomph as the whole phone is covered in silvery metallic case. Its keypad is enclosed with a slider which is quiet comfortable and reminds of Nokia’s Sirocco handsets.

The basic Zen feature is also present in this model which is its dual SIM slot. Now you can use two phone numbers for one device and juggle seamlessly among the two. Point to be noted is that both SIM need to be GSM network SIM card.  The phone’s display consists of a fairly large 2.2 inches QVGA screen. The interface is crisp and navigation is easy. It has a 2.0 mega pixel camera which can give an image resolution of 1600 X 1200 pixels, big enough for normal uses. The camera is also capable of digital zoom. You can use it for video recording as well.

Coming to entertainment, this device performs sufficiently well. The speaker phone gives enough clarity to converse without any difficulty.  The sound recorder works well and so the FM radio. You can also enjoy music and video (MP4 and 3GP) on this device. You can also download games from Zen’s GameCenter service via WAP connection. The device’s external memory is expandable up to 4 GB but the good news is that the phone itself comes with a 2 GB microSD card.

Zen M25 Review

September 22nd, 2010

Zen has become one of the fastest growing companies in the low cost mobile market and its M25 model is yet another feature loaded device that can easily entice buyers on budget. The device comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera which is enough for taking pictures of your memorable moments. Its fairly large 2.4 inch QVGA display screen can work as a handy MP4 video player. It is also a sound entertainment device as you can enjoy your favorite tracks through the music player which can support most of the popular formats.  You can also enjoy FM radio on this phone. Plugging in your high end headphones won’t be difficult anymore as it comes with a 3.5 mm jack.

Data transfer through this device becomes an easy task with its in built Bluetooth support. Alternatively you can also use the all in one universal USB port to transfer data to non-Bluetooth devices like your old PC. One of the typical features of this as well as many other Zen mobiles is that it can support two GSM SIM cards and hence one handset can be used for two numbers. This is an enormously helpful feature for those who need to carry the bulk of two mobiles and get confused when one of them rings!

The super feature of this mobile phone is its robust battery. The 2500 mAh marathon battery can give you a stand by time of…..hold your breath before you read…..72 days!! Yes, you heard it right 72 days not hours and hence you would hardly be bothered to charge your phone in trains and during travel. Its talk time is also impressive with 16 hours.
